- Amazing Art / Culture – West Michigan is home to ArtPrize, the world’s largest art competition as well as the Grand Rapids Art Museum, one of the most visited in the nation.

- Magnificent Music / Theater – This area has a wide range of music and theatrical performances to suit everyone’s taste. We’re home to Van Andel Arena, where you can see some of the best music super stars around. Is ballet or the symphony more your style? We have that covered. West Michigan also has more than a few theaters, and if you’re looking for a night on the town dancing, the B.O.B. always has a good DJ or two playing.
- Beer City USA – Grand Rapids tied Asheville for the title of “Beer City USA,” and is home to some of the most popular micro breweries in the nation. Some highlights include Founders Brewery Co, Brewery Vivant, and Perrin Brewing. Along the lake shore, there is also New Holland Brewing Co.
- Great Outdoors – West Michigan is enjoyable for the distinct seasons, and wide range of outdoor activities. With a 30-45 minute drive, you can see Lake Michigan, go skiing, golfing, fishing, or hiking.
- Colleges / Education – Grand Valley State University, Kendall College of Art & Design, Aquinas, Hope, and Calvin College as just a few of the aware winning universities in the area, making it a great place to get an education.
- Local Economy – Gordon Food Service, Herman Miller, Steelcase, Bissell, Amway, Wolverine Wordwide, and Meijer are just a few of the major corporations that call West Michigan their home.
