Mike first became a licensed Realtor in 2003, and worked in residential and commercial brokerage in the Chicago area. At the same time, he started a small property management company which was later sold. He spent 2006-2007 focused solely on large residential investment properties in the Chicago area with a clientèle consisting of condominium developers and buy-and-hold investors. He became licensed in Michigan upon moving back to Grand Rapids in 2008. Mike has developed an expertise for dealing with distressed properties and distressed loans within the residential and commercial real estate markets. In addition to putting effort into his real estate business, he does some business development for a large commercial construction management firm. Mike lives in downtown Grand Rapids with his wife, Sara.
